MY STORY
The Edited Highlights
Art has always been an important part of my life and hugely influences my photography style. It was in Art College in Riga, Latvia, aged 17, that I first fell under the spell of photography. From the very first moment I held a camera, I knew it was my calling. Fuelled by a mix of daring and perhaps a touch of naivety, I took a giant leap of faith to make my dreams come true and make photography my career. So in 2007, I set off for London, with no concrete plans but determined to make things happen, I completed my BA Hons Photography degree at the University of Westminster, one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
Now, I am very blessed to call myself a full-time lifestyle photographer, capturing couples and families at the most special times in their lives. I really do pinch myself that I get to do this amazing job every day! I’ve been in the UK for 17 years now and feel very lucky to have found my home in the beautiful little town of Aldeburgh on the coast where I live with my husband Martin and our daughter Sofia, oh and baby Cookie (a ginger cockapoo). Whether a wedding day or a family shoot, I aim to document the beauty and special moments of your day whilst ensuring you’re relaxed and enjoying the experience of being in front of my lens.
