About Southwold Flowers

Photoshoots at Southwold Flowers are a highlight of my working year, yet it never feels like work. The children of all ages and their families travel from all over the country to join us. We offer a unique experience every year from June to August, when the flowers are in bloom.

The children pick their own flowers, and that’s when the magic happens. I capture special moments of the children, not only as they choose their flowers but whilst they explore the fantastic colours and take in the beauty of nature.

With my photography, I can give those moments - the wonderment and joy of childhood - to my clients forever.

Lizzie, the barn owner, introduced me to her fields four years ago when they were barren yet full of potential. I was able to capture the tulip's first growth, and with that my friendship with Lizzie.

PYO flowers at Southwold flowers is one of the most amazing ideas for your children to do in a summer, plus if the are old enough they can go and pick flowers and y ou can st down and enjoy very yummy H&G coffee which is for sale at the barn too, what bonus of the day , right!

The Family Gets Together

“Anna has photographed our growing family several times over the past few years. She goes the extra mile and we’ve always been delighted with the results, so I was really pleased to be gifted a photoshoot with her from my Mum and sisters. They opted for an extended family shoot which turned out to be a brilliant idea. Anna is very experienced at directing large groups and entertaining children whilst she’s at it! One of the best things about an extended family shoot is getting shots of everyone together but also having a range of different groupings. Anna was also able to get the shots of all the children together that we never have been able to achieve.”

Marley and Molly

Mummy and me sessions are always very popular and so special. Easy , relaxed and full of fun shoots. Mums are always hiding behind the camera and hardly ever get photos of them and their babies.

We had gorgeous winder sunset with Marley bear boy and Molly at beautiful Dunwich woods back in December 2022. Golden hour in December is around 2pm and until 3pm, so its so much easier to photograph little ones in the winter compared to summer golden hour which is around 7:30-9pm.

As a typical toddler Marley did not stop running around and splashing puddles, which made the session so fun.

They do grow up so fast and they change every months at this age, little sessions lille mummy and me always help to keep memories of them at any age!!!

The Eni Family at Walberswick Beach

I first worked with the Eni Family five years ago when they had Christmas shoot at Welford Christmas tree farm.

Even though I live three hours away from them as soon as the lockdown was lifted in 2021 they came to visit me in Suffolk. and of course, I have taken them to my favourite Walberswick beach.

It was such an enjoyable evening at the end August. We were extremely lucky with the golden hour. Children absolutely loved burying their toes in the warm sand, playing, tickling each other, running around the dunes, and of course jumping with over the sea waves.

Little Sofia (the youngest Child) never seen the sea before, so you can only imagine how extremely happy and excited was she. It was so special to watch her on the beach. Her cute smile never left her face that evening. We had over an hour of lots of joy, love, and giggles.

*Also, what a perfect clothing choice and style, Inessa has chosen for them all. It worked amazingly with that golden light, sand and waves.

Beautiful memories of summer 2021 .

I feel truly blessed to share and capture these forever memories for families who hire me, but more so for the friendships that these times have formed.
